ABOUT LUK

His love for electronic music started back in 1997 when his older brother handed down his DJ equipment and taught him to spin vinyl. Initially Luk was obsessed with trance, techno, acid, and progressive, but his deep passion for other genres grew as his skills developed.

Through dedication, Luk progressed his self-taught skills of electro and house to play in top clubs across Switzerland — Loft, Säulenhalle, Nordstern Lifestyle, and many more. His presence behind the decks keeps crowds enthusiastic and engaged.

Since December 2018, Luk has released his own productions and achieved over 29 million streams across all platforms — a remarkable achievement for an independent artist pushing electronic music forward.

DJ FAQ

Everything you need to know about booking a professional DJ in Zurich & Switzerland and International.

How much does a DJ cost for a club night, daydance party or festival in Zurich or Switzerland?
An all-in-one professional DJ in Zurich depending on the event type and duration. Send a booking inquiry for a custom quote.
What is included in your DJ packages and what are the different price options?
You get me and my experience — "all-in-one". Setup, equipment, performance and vibe management all covered.
How far in advance should I book a DJ?
For peak season (summer weekends, Street Parade period, festival dates) I recommend booking 4–8 months ahead. Short notice bookings are on request — reach out and I'll see what's possible.
How experienced are you as a DJ?
I have played 400+ events across Switzerland and Europe — from Zurich club residencies and Lake Zurich daydance boat parties to major festivals and corporate events.
Do you accept song requests and can I send my own playlist?
Absolutely! Just no ABBA.
What music genres do you play?
I play everything that makes people move — House, Techno, Afro House, Tech House, Melodic House, Deep House and beyond. I adapt 100% to the crowd.
Can the DJ handle daydance, club night and afterparty in one booking?
Of course! Many clients book me for the full experience — daytime party into club night or festival set + afterparty. One seamless all-in-one booking, one price.
Do I need to provide anything for the DJ?
Just a power outlet near the booth and a small drink if the event runs long. Wi-Fi is nice but not required.
What's the difference between a professional DJ and just using Spotify?
A pro DJ reads the crowd live, mixes flawlessly, handles lighting & effects, keeps the energy perfect for hours — no technical headaches, no dead moments. It's the difference between a good party and an unforgettable night.
Do DJs press the sync button?
Yes — and there's zero shame in it! Professional DJs can beatmatch manually by ear, but the Sync button is a smart modern tool. It lets me lock the beats instantly so I can focus on the fun stuff: reading the crowd in real time, adding crazy effects, building tension before every drop, and keeping the dancefloor absolutely exploding. The crowd doesn't care how the beats got matched — they just want the music to slap.
How has your DJ equipment evolved from vinyl to CDJs and USB today?
I've lived the full DJ equipment journey! Started with real vinyl records, carrying heavy crates to every gig. Then upgraded to the legendary Technics SL-1200 turntables (the absolute king of club turntables). When digital music arrived I moved to the very first Pioneer CDJs, and today I run a super-modern professional OPUS QUAD with USB + laptop as a track source alternative — thousands of tracks at my fingertips but still with the turntable feel I need. Still can't and never will do just on a laptop. Much needed for old-school soul + cutting-edge reliability for every club night, daydance party or festival.
